MAKS 2021: Russian Helicopters signs with the Russian Emergencies Ministry to supply 9 Mi-38PS helicopters

Russian Helicopters holding (a part of Rostec state corporation) at the MAKS-2021 international aviation and space show  has signed a contract with the Russian Emergencies Ministry to supply  9 MI-38PS helicopters in Arctic version until 2024.

MAKS 2021: Foreign customers interested in Russian UCAV Orion-E drone

Kronshtadt Company said foreign customers had displayed interest in its unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) Orion-E drone displayed at MAKS-2021 airshow: "Kronshtadt and Rosoboronexport negotiated the deliveries of Orion-E drones with delegations from 13 countries, including the CIS, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa," it said.

MAKS 2021: Sukhoi unveils virtual reality simulator for Su-57E fighter

The Sukhoi Design Bureau unveiled a flight simulator with virtual reality at the MAKS 2021 international aerospace show, a team leader with the Sukhoi Design Bureau Yuri Zavgorodnev told TASS. The simulator is designed to train pilots to operate the export version of the fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 aircraft, he added.

MAKS 2021: Rostec signed agreements worth over 230 Bn rubles for 161 aviation hardware units

Rostec said it had signed several agreements worth over 230 billion rubles for 161 aviation hardware units, including 77 aircraft at MAKS-2021 airshow: "Rostec organizations signed agreements for 161 aviation hardware units. The United Aircraft Corporation will supply 58 Sukhoi Superjet 100 and 19 regional Il-114-300 airplanes. Russian Helicopters signed an agreement to supply 84 helicopters, including Mi-171A3, Ka-62, Mi-38, Mi-8, Ansat," it said.

Kamov Ka-62 medium multirole helicopter can be operated by the Russian Defense Ministry in the future, First Deputy CEO of Progress Aircraft Company in Arsenyev Andrey Semenov told TASS. "The strategy of Russian Helicopters Holding stipulates cooperation with the Defense Ministry in replacing imported components of Ka-62. We discuss the missions it has to perform. MAKS 2021: Five foreign customers interested in Sukhoi Su-34 bomber

Five countries have shown interest in the Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO reporting name: Fullback) frontline bomber, Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev said: "We are carrying out marketing work, about five countries have shown interest. There are no contracts yet," Shugayev said. According to him, there has been a significant interest in this aircraft among potential foreign customers. "There are no official bids so far, but there is great interest," he added.

The Russian-Indian BrahMos Aerospace joint venture is waiting for a decision from Russia’s Aerospace Force on purchasing the JV’s BrahMos air-launched cruise missile, JV Russian Head Alexander Maksichev told TASS at the MAKS 2021 international airshow. "We have offered our missile to the Russian Aerospace Force. Now it is up to them to decide on its acquisition," he said in response to a question about the prospects for the BrahMos missile to be purchased by the Russian military.

MAKS 2021: Asian African and European countries interested in Sukhoi Su-57 fighter

Countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and Europe have shown interest in Russia’s fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 fighter jet, CEO of Russia’s Rosoboronexport state arms seller Alexander Mikheyev told TASS at the MAKS 2021 international aerospace show. "Rosoboronexport is currently considering the requests for the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter from five countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and Europe," Mikheyev said.
