A three ship formation of JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft along with a contingent from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) comprising pilots and technicians departed from an Operational PAF Air Base, Sunday , to participate in forthcoming Paris Air Show. One JF-17 aircraft will perform in the flying display and the other will be on static display throughout the show.

Air Recognition learned during the Paris Air Show 2015 currently held in Le Bourget that the Egyptian Air Force is the first export customer for Thales' new generation target pod: The Talios. Egypt signed a contract with France for 24 Rafale back in April this year. This information was shown on sign on display next to a Talios scale model on the Thales stand: "Procured by French Air Force and Navy, Egyptian Air Force".

Thales and Textron AirLand announced today, June 17, 2015, at the International Paris Air Show 2015, that they have successfully jointly integrated Thales’ I-Master radar on to Textron AirLand’s Scorpion light attack and ISR aircraft. The addition of the radar into the Scorpion’s mission system compliments the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensor suite which already includes a high end EO/IR capability.

Thales announced today at Paris Airshow 2015, that they have been selected by the Jordanian Armed Forces to provide further I-Master SAR/GMTI radars for the Royal Jordanian Air Force. The selection follows the successful delivery and installation of the radar onto their Royal Jordian Air Force AC-235 aircraft in 2014.

The UAS systems developed by the Portuguese company Tekever have been selected by the Portuguese Navy to integrate a Frontex Mission in the Mediterranean Sea this year. The AR3 Net Ray, which has been unveiled today at Paris Air Show 2015, is one of the systems that will be trialed in FRONTEX missions by TEKEVER. Because of its endurance of up to 10h, this UAS is a perfect fit to support many of the maritime missions being carried out.

In development since 2011, the SSA-1101 Gerfaut system is being showcased on a C-130 aircraft scale model at Paris Air Show 2015. The idea of the concept is to combine the long range of a C-130 Hercules aircraft with Sagem's AASM/Hammer standoff weapon system to cover tactical and special operations.

The C295W has been chosen based on its demonstrated excellent operational capabilities in hot and severe conditions and its proven affordable maintenance and operational costs, announced Airbus Defence & Space on June 16 at Paris Air Show 2015.

French companies Sagem (Safran) and Défense Conseil International (DCI) have signed a collaboration agreement on airborne surveillance systems, based on light aircraft and drones, for both France and international markets. The announcement has been made during Paris Air Show 2015, in Le Bourget, France. The manned airborne surveillance services offered by DCI will call on the Diamond DA 42 light twin-engine aircraft, equipped with Sagem's Euroflir 350 or 410 optronic pod.

The Skylark I-LEX, based on years of knowledge and experience, is a man-portable electric propelled UAS, best fitted for organic “beyond the next hill” reconnaissance, counter insurgency and force protection missions, as well as civil applications including perimeter security, border and coastal surveillance, anti-terror and a variety of law enforcement missions.
