Eurocopter’s first production Tiger helicopter in the HAD (Hélicoptère d'Appui Destruction in French, or Support and Attack configuration) was delivered to France’s DGA armament procurement agency today for operation by French Army Aviation units, providing a highly capable combat weapon system that is tailored to the world’s evolving battlefield conditions.

Prestwick, Scotland, BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has delivered on time and on budget two BAe 146-200QC (Quick Change) aircraft that have been converted from commercial to military configuration for use by the Royal Air Force. After a period of familiarisation and operational trials, both aircraft have now been declared as Released To Service (RTS) by the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence.

Two Chinese air force pilots died in the crash of their Su-27 fighter jet, the People's Liberation Army said on its website. The jet crashed Sunday afternoon near the city of Rong Cheng in east China's Shandong province when the pilots were on a training mission. There was no collateral damage on the ground, the air force said.
