Air Component, formerly the Belgian Air Force, is
the air arm of the Belgian Armed Forces. Originally
founded in 1909, it is one of the world's first
air forces, and was a pioneer in aerial combat during
the First World War. The Operational Air Command
(COMOPSAIR) includes all combat, training and support
units.

Royal Air Force (RAF) is the aerial warfare service
branch of the British Armed Forces. Formed on 1
April 1918, it is the oldest independent air force
in the world. All RAF assets opertae under a single
Air Command based at RAF High Wycombe. Nine Expeditionary
Air Wings (EAW) will be formed at as many main operating
bases (RAF Coningsby, Cottesmore, Kinloss, Leeming,
Leuchars, Lyncham, Lossiemouth, Marham and Waddington).
The British Royal Air Force operates 501 Combat
Aircraft.
Personnel: 39,700.

Aéronautique, a service arm of the French
Army, then was made an independent military arm

of aircraft in NATO, and the second largest in the
EU after the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force.

Swedish Air Force (Swedish: Flygvapnet) is the air
force branch of the Swedish Armed Forces. The Swedish
Air Force was created on July 1, 1926 when the aircraft
units of the Army and Navy were merged. The Swedish
government have also decided to cut back on the
Air Force and its fighters. Of the now 138 fighter
planes in service about 100 will form the future
Swedish Air Force.
