The F-35 Gen III HMDS stands out as the pinnacle of helmet-mounted display systems globally. Serving as the pilot's primary interface, it grants intuitive access to essential flight, tactical, and sensor data crucial for mission success, regardless of day or night conditions.

Daniel Karl, co-general manager of CEVS and a representative of Collins Aerospace, remarked, "CEVS has been at the forefront of developing and supplying cutting-edge solutions to ensure pilots' safety and readiness for nearly three decades. The HMDS empowers pilots with unparalleled situational awareness in combat environments, enabling faster decision-making. Our team in Wilsonville, Oregon, takes pride in its role in advancing this technology to support our warfighters, enhancing their capabilities for future operations."

The recent delivery milestone underscores CEVS's commitment to equipping warfighters, with over 20,000 systems supplied and more than 1 million flight hours logged across 40 different fighter aircraft platforms.

This accomplishment follows CEVS's introduction of the Zero-G HMDS+ for 6th-generation fighter aircraft five months earlier. Jeff Hobert, co-general manager of CEVS representing Elbit America, highlighted the Zero-G's attributes, stating, "Zero-G represents the latest evolution of our HMDS, offering unmatched lightweight design, capability, and safety features. Tailored for next-generation fighter platforms, it also provides support for 4th and 5th generation aircraft."

The F-35 Gen III Helmet Mounted Display System revolutionizes tactical aviation, granting pilots instantaneous access to critical information for informed decision-making, enhancing situational awareness, precision, and safety.

This advanced system integrates seamlessly with the pilot's interface, enabling virtual visualization capabilities such as seeing through the aircraft's structure or directly targeting objectives. With a continuous stream of flight and sensor data displayed, pilots benefit from enhanced spatial orientation, precise weapon targeting, and tactical superiority, regardless of lighting conditions.

Fully integrating the head-up display (HUD), helmet-mounted display, and visor-projected night vision, pilots gain unprecedented capability within the cockpit. They can effectively engage targets while maintaining situational awareness through comprehensive monitoring of flight parameters.

Featuring an advanced bi-ocular view with a wide field of view and complete overlap, the HMDS ensures optimal vision alignment for night operations without the need for separate night-vision equipment.

Pilots can designate and verify targets using the HMDS, leveraging onboard sensors or datalink for precise weapon engagement. The system's lightweight design, coupled with Active Noise Reduction (ANR) and custom helmet liners, enhances comfort and reduces pilot fatigue during prolonged missions.
