"Today's environment cannot create obstacles for [our] cooperation with the Russian aerospace industry. We will find the answers to all the questions. The French aerospace industry wants to continue cooperation with that of Russia," Paris Air Show chairman Emeric d'Arcimoles told journalists in Moscow.

Earlier, d'Arcimoles said that French companies are looking to help Russia's Sukhoi aircraft manufacturer to modernize their Superjet 100 airliner.

Paris Air Show managing director Gilles Fournier said during the same press conference that 42 countries are expected to take part in this year's show, due to be held at the Le Bourget Airport on June 15-21.

Fournier added that Russia will send a larger delegation this year than in 2013, when the Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet made its debut at a Western show.

The Paris Air Show is held once in two years in June. In 2013 Russia showcased Yak-130 light attack and trainer aircraft and Ka-52 combat helicopter, among many other products. Russian company Sukhoi has also rocked the 50th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget with the premiere of its cutting-edge Su-35 fighter.

As of now more than 30 Russian companies, including MiG Russian Aircraft Corporation, Russian Helicopters, Sukhoi Company and Ilyushin Aviation Complex, are among the 2015 exhibitors, according to the show's official website.

The 51st Paris Air Show will be held in Le Bourget from June 15th-21st 2015. It is expected that over 2000 exhibitors, 140 thousand visitors and more than 200 official delegations would participate in the airshow. The exhibitors will showcase more than 150 aircraft; most of these vehicles will take part in demonstration flights.
