on the battle proven BLACK HAWK helicopter, the S-70i helicopter has
been designed with the specific features and capabilities most requested
by international military customers, at an affordable price. The S-70i
BLACK HAWK helicopter is the culmination of 30 years of engineering
excellence and real world military experience. This affordable new breed
of BLACK HAWK is robustly configured with a state-of-the-art cockpit.
Designed to a strict military standard, the BLACK HAWK helicopter's
ability to be quickly deployed and reconfigured has made this versatile
aircraft a legend. The S-70i BLACK HAWK helicopter is the latest addition
to this proud lineage of multi-mission aircraft that continues to serve
27 nations around the world. The Polish Company PZL Mielec delivered

customer in August 2011. Sikorsky Aircraft signed a contract with the
Brunei Ministry of Defence in December 2011, to supply 12 S-70i helicopters
for the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF). In March 2013, The Colombian
Army has formally inducted five new Sikorsky S-70i multi-mission helicopters
into its fleet of BLACK HAWK aircraft. Colombia is the first South American

S-70i
helicopter configurations enable mission planners to maximize assets
by moving them to where they are most needed. A straight forward design
allows for quick-change configurations that meet mission requirements.
Troop seats can be removed in minutes for the storage of cargo and supplies.
Add mission specific equipment to increase capability, range, performance
and much more. The reliable crash-worthy airframe design of the S-70i
integrates a machined cabin structure and a single-piece cockpit assembly.
The structure can resist small-arms fire and high-explosive projectiles.
Entry and exit of the crew and troops are provided by two jettisonable
cockpit doors and two sliding cargo doors respectively. The S-70i can
be equipped with ballistic protection, an active vibration control system,
medical equipment, wire strike protection, Integrated Vehicle Health
Management (IVHM) system, auxiliary fuel tanks, an external rescue hoist,
