Dubai Airshow 2017: Expal promoting weapons integration in C295 aircraft
 
At Dubai Airshow 2017, being held until November 2017, the Spanish defense company is promoting standard weapons integration in the Airbus C295 airlifter. These capabilities are the results of an agreement signed between Airbus Defence and Space and EXPAL.

Under this agreement, EXPAL provides engineering support for the integration of standard weapons in the C295 aircraft, such as 70 mm CAT-70 family of rockets as well as MK 80 series warheads, both compatible with precision guidance systems.

In October 20216, Airbus Defence and Space and EXPAL signed an agreement to increase the C295W aircraft attack capabilities. The two companies have previously cooperated in the integration of guided weapon systems on the Eurofighter aircraft.
