The Croatian armed forces took delivery of the first five OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters on Saturday 30 July 2016. The choppers were delivered at the 93rd Air Force Base of the Croatian Air Force ( CAF) in Zemunik, the Croatian MoD announced on its website.

A dynamic model of the Ilyushin Il-112V military transport plane has undergone the first stage of subsonic wind tunnel flutter tests at Russia’s Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), the TsAGI press office told TASS. The flutter trials are being carried out on order of the Ilyushin Aviation Complex, the press office added.

The Su-34 tactical bomber fleet may be equipped with UKR-RT electronic intelligence (ELINT) pods in the future, according to the Izvestia daily. The Su-34s will get ELINT pods enabling them to both acquire and attack enemy headquarters, communications and data transmission systems and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control centers in real time. The UKR-RT system is carried in a special pod under the fuselage.

Raytheon Company has signed its first commercial performance based logistics contract with RUAG Switzerland Ltd., a five-year agreement to service the ALR-67(V)3, an advanced digital radar warning receiver, for the Swiss government. The ALR-67(V)3 warns F-18 pilots of potentially hostile activities, offering real-time situational awareness.

The Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern - KRET, a subsidiary of the Rostec state corporation- is developing the Okhotnik (Hunter) video data processing system to increase the target detection range of the Sukhoi PAK FA (T-50) fifth-generation multirole fighter jet by 50-100%, according to the KRET`s press department.
