Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has acquired a full independent capability for UAS payload simulation by purchasing TView, a 3D image generator for simulation and C4I applications from Tiltan Systems Engineering, an Israeli company. The Agreement allows IAI to adapt the software, including the use of source code and other resources made available to IAI.

The Turkish General Staff announced it has begun using the first domestically made Turkish attack helicopters in a counter-terrorism operation for the very first time. Two ATAK attack helicopters flew on April 25 to the southeastern province of Siirt to join the 3rd Commando Brigade, the General Staff said in an announcement posted on its official webpage on May 4.

The multibillion-dollar contract between the State of Qatar and Dassault Aviation for 24 Rafale multirole fighter aircraft has been signed on Monday, May 4 in Doha in the presence of Mr. François Hollande, President of the French Republic. Following on from the Mirage F1, the Alpha Jet and the Mirage 2000, the Rafale is set to extend the historic partnership between Qatar, France and Dassault Aviation.

Known as the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), and manufactured by Boeing Defense, Space and Security, smart bombs provide an all-weather precision strike capability for RAAF.

Slovakia's Security Council and the government have approved a contract for procuring nine American Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk military helicopters for approximately 261 million US dollars (€236.7 million), Defence Ministry informed on April 29. The ministry stated that the helicopters fully meet the needs of the armed forces. The first Black Hawk could be delivered next year.
