"The engine of the S-80FP rocket is smaller than that of the non-S-80 guided missile, its warhead is 50% larger. This makes the rocket 5 to 10 times more efficient (...). This gear is already delivered to the army, " M.Makarovets said. According to the director, S-80FP 80 mm rocket "is one of the best of its kind in the world, it dramatically increases the efficiency of an airplane or helicopter and reduces the number of combat sorties."

Russia introduced the unguided missile S-80FP at Defexpo 2014 show in New Delhi in February. According M.Makarovets, India has shown great interest in the projectile and launched discussions on its purchase by the Indian Army.
