During this momentous occasion, PTDI Production Director, Batara Silaban, and Mary Claire Murphy, Vice President of Textron's External Relations in Washington D.C., inked the Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement (SCFA). This agreement seeks to expand the existing Global Outline Agreement (GOA) pertaining to the tail boom of the Bell 412 helicopter and explore the possibility of PTDI becoming an integral part of the supply chain for the aerostructure and sub-assembly components of the Relentless Super Medium Bell 525 helicopter, which is presently in development.

Additionally, PTDI Production Director Batara Silaban and Honeywell's Vice President of Business Development, Donna Rogers, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering various initiatives to enhance mission readiness for end users. This MoU is expected to bolster the Indonesian defense industry's capabilities in areas such as maintenance services, spare parts upgrades, and manufacturing.

This collaborative effort aligns with the directive of Indonesia's Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto, who emphasizes the importance of global cooperation within the domestic industry. Such cooperation serves as an ongoing commitment to boosting mission readiness and military capabilities, ultimately fortifying Indonesia's resilience and security.

Gita Amperiawan, President Director of PTDI, expressed the honor of expanding cooperation with leading global industry players in America, particularly Bell Textron Inc. and Honeywell. This partnership is seen as a pivotal step in advancing the domestic aerospace industry. Furthermore, it positions PTDI, a state-owned enterprise under Holding Defense ID, to emerge as a significant global Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) player. It is expected to catalyze the growth of the aerospace industry ecosystem in Indonesia and solidify PTDI's position as a Tier-1 Global Supply Chain entity in the Aerostructure sector within Indonesia.
