These solutions should remain open to cooperation with other European partners. The innovations studied may relate to the improvement of sensors, means of communication, the introduction of logic based on #AI, or the integration of new weapons.

The Patmar (Maritime Patrol) role is currently fulfilled by 22 Atlantique 2 (ATL2) aircraft of the French Navy, 18 of which are currently being renovated under the supervision of the DGA. The new equipment installed will be among the most efficient in the aeronautics industry.
