The CIM, created in 2018, has the main objective of optimizing the financial, structural, material and human resources used in the maintenance of the H225M aircraft. The helicopters - named in the MB as the UH-15 Super Cougar; in the Brazilian Army (EB), as HM-4 Jaguar; and in the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), such as the H-36 Caracal - have a similar configuration in the three Forces, enabling the integration of maintenance. In total, inspections have already been completed on 2 aircraft from the Navy, 4 from the Army and 2 from the Air Force.

This time, it was the turn of the HU-2 Squadron of the Brazilian Navy to receive the aircraft ready for return to operational activity, after completion of  the A/T inspection, carried out every 1200 hours of flight or 36 months of operation. Maintenance activities are carried out by soldiers from the three forces, promoting the exchange of experience, standardization and integration.

For the Director of PAMASP, Colonel Aviator Anderson da Silva Nishio, the delivery of said aircraft reflects not only the increase in the availability of the Brazilian Navy fleet, but also the interoperability capacity between the Armed Forces. "Capacity demonstrated not only in terms of integrated maintenance, but also in training missions, such as Operation Poseidon, which has already brought together the Navy, Army and Air Force aboard the 'Atlantic' Multipurpose Helicopter Carrier (PHM) and Multipurpose Dock Ship (NDM). ) 'Bahia'” commented the Officer.

The Commander of the Naval Air Force, Rear Admiral Augusto José da Silva Fonseca Júnior, also commented on the delivery of the aircraft. “This vector represents an important increase in the operational capacity of the Navy, contributing to the increase in the availability of our resources and the fulfillment of our institutional mission”, he said.

Finally, the Director of DIRMAB highlighted, in his words, the power of the Institutional Culture of each Singular Force. "Unique features that guarantee the development of the inevitable destiny of interoperability, without jeopardizing the identity and specificities of the Navy, the Army and the Air Force", concluded the General Officer.
