Six contenders for Royal Malaysian Air Force light combat aircraft tender

The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) is looking to purchase new Fighter Lead‐In Trainer/Light Combat Aircraft (FLIT/LCA) within the next three years, according to Air Force Chief General Ackbal Abdul Samad. Samad said that under the RMAF Capability Development Plan 2055 (CAP55), the service plans to procure 36 FLIT/LCA aircraft in two steps. The new LCA will provide support to the current Boeing F/A-18D Hornet and Sukhoi Su-30MKM fighter aircraft.

Indian Navy receives 11th Boeing P-8I Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft

Boeing is continuing to expand the Indian Navy’s long-range maritime reconnaissance anti-submarine warfare capabilities with the delivery of the country’s 11th P-8I. The patrol aircraft is an integral part of the Indian Navy’s fleet and has surpassed 30,000 flight hours since it was inducted in 2013.

Indian Air Force receives three Rafale fighter jets

Three more Indian Air Force's  Rafale fihter jets arrived in India on October 13, taking total deliveries to 29. With 17 Squadron in Ambala topped up with its 18 airframes, 101 Squadron now has 11 airframes, with 7 left to be delivered to complete the total order for 36.

Boeing accredited to maintain Chinooks for Royal Netherlands Air Force
