“The new option considerably expands the functions of the rotorcraft and can safely lift and descend cargoes and people of up to 272 kg. The onboard jib increases Ansat effectiveness in rescue operations and provides for loading and unloading work in a hover mode,” it said.

The jib is rapidly installed and dismantled. It does not bar access to the underhood space for maintenance.

The Kazan plant completed trials to fix the cargo in the cabin. Ansat has the biggest cabin among helicopters with a takeoff weight of 4 tons.

Ansat can be transformed into a cargo or passenger helicopter for seven people. Ansat-U has been serially produced since 2009. It provides primary training to cadets.
