Russia offers additional MiG-29 to India


Russia offered to India an additional batch of MiG-29 fighter jets, CEO of Russia’s state arms trader Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev told TASS at the DefExpo  international arms show.

‘We have handed over our offer to deliver MiG-29 planes. The Indian partners have additionally requested us to upgrade their operational MiG-29 planes to the same level," he said.

"As of now, the design of upgraded aircraft has been approved and consultations continue," he added.

As was reported earlier, India intended to buy an additional batch of 21 MiG-29 aircraft.
