During this flight, the Production Aircraft Test Manual was successfully applied by a team of Airbus Industry test pilots. The MSN106 is the very first Airbus A400M of the Belgian Air Component (Belgian Air Force). It will now bear the number CT-02 on its tail.

A delegation from the Air Component will start the delivery process of the aircraft very soon. Once this last phase is successfully completed, the plane will take off to be inducted in the 15th Air Transport Wing at its new base located in Melsbroek (Brussels).

Belgium ordered eight A400M Atlas, and Luxembourg one, the latter to be based in Melsbroek with the Belgian aircraft.
