The Chilean Air Force reports that due to the worldwide declared pandemic, it has been decided to cancel the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, the main aerospace, defense and security exhibition in Latin America, which was due to take place between Tuesday 31 March and Sunday April 5, 2020.

In consideration of the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the consequences of the expansion of COVID-19, the Government of Chile saw the need to cancel various events of a massive nature, among them, the twenty-first edition of FIDAE.

Faced with this scenario, the Chilean Air Force wishes to thank the countless samples of support and trust from hundreds of aviation-loving people, as well as companies, exhibitors, national and foreign delegations, who had confirmed their participation in the twenty-first edition of this world aeronautical event.
