With indigenously developed innovative smart cockpits and advanced avionic architecture designs, ASELSAN has been the power behind visible; whether it is a platform modernization program, a national development program and an international collaboration.

ASELSAN avionic systems have already become a source of confidence worldwide. Today, a partnership between ASELSAN and Sikorsky affirms the trust put on ASELSAN avionics. Within the scope of the agreement, ASELSAN’s Integrated Modular Avionics System (IMAS) will be responsible for the management of the systems in the helicopter program known as the Turkish General Utility Helicopter Program. At least 250 Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter platforms will be manufactured with ASELSAN’s IMASs. More than half of these platforms will be in service of pilots around the world, with one of the most modern avionic architectures engineeredby ASELSAN.

ASELSAN keeps seeking innovative solutions for providing better and smarter systems to platform manufacturers. The next generation Modular Avionics Touchscreen Environment (MATE), currently being tested on T-625 Multirole Helicopter, is another step towards future horizons. The smart cockpit solution, providing 3D Sound, synthetic vision and automatic speech recognition is considered for Turkish Fighter Aircraft platform as well.

ASELSAN carries out design, production, software and hardware integration, platform integration and after-sales activities for air platforms ranging fighter jets, training aircrafts, utility helicopters, attack helicopters and unmanned platforms for more than 40 years. Accumulating years of experience, ASELSAN avionic systems today are being integrated to a wide variety of airborne platforms including T129 ATAK Helicopters, F-16 Fighter Aircraft, S-70 Black Hawk Helicopters, HÜRKUŞ Trainer Aircraft and ANKA UAVs.

Through its avionic systems, ASELSAN powers the platforms to reach reliability and effectivity in the field. Specific solutions, such as ASELSAN’s AVCI Helmet Integrated Cueing System developed for T129 ATAK Helicopter, are developed and integrated by ASELSAN. ASELSAN also develops airborne electro-optical systems, IFF systems, electronic warfare and self-protection systems and airborne radar systems, all of which have been proven on various platforms.
