"We are thrilled to have been chosen by Airbus Helicopters for this new type of equipment. Labinal Power Systems worked with Airbus Helicopters for 18 months in advance to define the best industrial strategy and optimizations to meet the program's requirements," says Julien Willer, Airbus Helicopters account manager for the EWIS Eurasia division at Labinal Power Systems.

"The added value that we were able to contribute to the program enabled us to win this new contract. This reinforces the partnership that we have long held with Airbus Helicopters, for which we produce electrical and cabling systems for the Super Puma, Puma, Dauphin, NH90, H135 and EC145 programs," adds Sébastien Jaulerry, Vice President & General Manager of the EWIS Eurasia division at Labinal Power Systems.

The Airbus Helicopters H160, formerly knwon as X4, is a medium utility helicopter being developed by Airbus Helicopters. The H160 helicopter is powered by the latest Turbomeca 1,100shp Arrano engine. It has a cruising speed of about 300 km/h and an operational range of 833 km.
