Vietnam opens new maintenance line for Sukhoi Su-27 and Su-30 fighters
 
The maintenance line for Su-27 and Su-30 fighters of Factory A32 under the Air Defence and Air Forces Service was inaugurated on October 25th in Da Nang City, in the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh, Deputy Minister of National Defence.

Accordingly, the line will help ensure the long-term effective and safe operation of fighters Su-27 and Su-30 and next generations in the coming time.

Addressing the ceremony, general Khanh praised the efforts of Factory A32 and the technical service of the Air Defence and Air Forces Service in promoting self-reliance, own efforts and proactive creativity, and actively studying from foreign experts to produce their own tools for cost reduction, while ensuring the quantity and quality of equipment.

He said that this is an important milestone, marking the development of the Vietnam People’s Army’s techniques in maintaining and repairing weapons and high-tech equipment, ensuring combat capacity and readiness of the army.
