The T-50 Golden Eagle is a family of South Korean supersonic advanced trainers and multirole fighters, developed by Korea Aerospace Industries beginning in the late 1990s. The T-50 is South Korea's first indigenous supersonic aircraft and one of the world's few supersonic trainers.

The KAI T-50 entered in active service in 2005, being one of the first supersonic aircraft developed in Asia. The Korean company started to improve the first prototypes versions to develop them as a light attack aircraft designated as FA-50.

Currently The South Korean and Indonesian Air Force acquired the aircraft, even though the Spanish, Polish, Singapore, Arab Emirates Air Force may think in the short-term about the acquisition of the aircraft.
