Main Business Areas

UAV IT180
ECA's IT180 is a family of mini-vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) designed for military and homeland security operations. The family is intended to perform missions such as intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR), search and rescue, damage assessment, port and coastal protection, force protection, battlefield management, as well as covert operations.

TESTING SYSTEMS
ECA Group delivers specific functional testing systems and is capable in particular of testing all the main systems of an aircraft (fixed and rotary wing). These testing systems are based on ECA Group T-Cell technology. T-Cells are compact and interchangeable modules that are used to test specific functions of an aircraft. T-Cells can be fitted into mobile electronic test cabinets to develop a full aircraft ground testing system. T-Cells can also be fitted in smaller cases to develop portable testing tools to test specific parts of the aircraft. These tools are rugged, mobile GSE and can be controlled with an easy-to-use HMI. They are perfectly adapted to the military environment and can be approved by the aircraft manufacturer. T-Cells are self-maintainable modules that can be replaced in less than one minute. They can be used to build compact and multifunctional tools replacing several other tools.

GROUND TESTING EQUIPMENT – GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
ECA group uses cutting edge technology to design and manufacture ground testing equipment, innovative Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and mission on-board equipment. We can also design and build aircraft assembly stations, logistics platforms and production tooling in a military environment. We design processes and procedures and make proposals to increase production cycles and improve operations. Our knowledge of civil and military assembly line production processes ensure building and station design optimization.

ECA Group develops cost effective and reliable GSE for maintenance operations and military aircraft test either for Air Forces or maintenance centers. We provide mechanical and electronics GSE. ECA Group has supplied GSE and functional testing tools to several major industry players including Airbus Helicopters and Dassault.

MISSION ON-BOARD EQUIPMENT
ECA Group designs and manufactures mission on-board equipment to interface, monitor or control specific Air Force mission equipment or aircraft system. ECA Group provides solutions to mission equipment OEMs or directly to aircraft manufacturers.

IT180 - Tethered Mini UAV for Radio Relaying

ECA Group Tethered Mini UAV for Radio Relaying based on UAV IT180-999, is a solution acting as a virtual mast to enhance radio communication performances. Secured by an umbilical cable, combining ground power supply and data link, the tethered UAV can be deployed in remote places, from manned or unmanned platforms. Equipped with a set of radio transmitter and receiver, it is ideal to increase communication range, especially in places where radio links are weak.

Mobile Electronic Test Cabinet

T-CELL technology features a full range of compact electronic modules that can be fitted into various compact form factors. These 1 minute replaceable cells can be reconfigured depending on production workflow. A compact cabinet fitted with T-cells can test an entire aircraft area.

Portable Electronic Test Set

ECA Group T-CELL technology features a full range of compact electronic modules that can be fitted into various hand-held form factors. These low power consumption cells allow us to offer battery powered compact tools. ECA Group can address a large range of portable aircraft electronic testing applications.

Flight Control Unit

This flight control unit is an on-board equipment used by the pilot to select and control different flying modes. It has a complex electronic architecture including discrete and analog Inputs/Outputs, ARINC 429 channels, and built-in testability. This device is installed on the cockpit panel and is DAL-C compliant.

Missile Integration Tool
