Lockheed Martin recently delivered F-35 Full Mission Simulators (FMS) to the Israeli, Italian, Japanese and Norwegian Air Forces – the first-ever deliveries to international F-35 operators, the US-based defense giant announced on Nov. 6, 2017.

CAE today announced that the Polish Air Force has recently accepted into service a C295 full-flight simulator (FFS) located at the 8th Air Base Krakow-Balice in Poland. The Polish Air Force operates a fleet of 16 Airbus Defence and Space C295 aircraft used for a variety of transport operations. The C295 FFS was developed by CAE in cooperation with Airbus Defence and Space and is equivalent to Level D, the highest qualification for flight simulators.

Military aircraft from nine nations began on Sunday a joint aviation drill in southern Israel, the largest military exercise of its kind ever in the country. A military notice said the 11-day Blue Flag exercise is taking place in the Ovda Airport Base in the Negev Desert, north of the resort city of Eilat.

The Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) on Nov. 3 formally took delivery of its first three F-35A fighter jets. The three aircraft, the first to be delivered to Norway, took off from Fort Worth, Texas at 06.35 AM Norwegian time November 3rd and landed at 03.57 PM the same day at Ørland Air Base, the country's Ministry of Defence said on its website.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has delivered its next-generation mission computer to the U.S. Marine Corps, which recently fielded the equipment for the first time on the UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters under the H-1 Upgrade program. The Marine Corps H-1 Upgrade program is replacing UH-1N and AH-1W helicopters with upgraded aircraft for significant improvements in capability, commonality, reliability and maintainability.

A ceremony was held Tuesday at the Lebanese Air Force (LAF) Hamat base where the Lebanese Air Force received from the United States two A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. The ceremony was attended by Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard and the U.S. Air force Central Commander General Jeffrey Harrigian.

Russian Helicopters started testing multi-purpose Ansat helicopter in Pakistan. The objective of testing is to prove the ability to use the machine in high temperatures. At the moment the helicopter has already started test flights. It is planned to expand Ansat's temperature regime to +50° Celsius. Thus, its temperature range will be from -45° to +50° Celsius.
