According to Firstpost, India and Russia are likely to ink a key deal for the joint development of a BrahMos 'mini missile' during the visit of Russian President Vladmir Putin later this week. Official sources said that a tripartite agreement in this regard is likely to be signed between DRDO, NPOM lab of Russia and BrahMos Aerospace.

Concern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET) has created an upgraded BINS-SP2M strapdown inertial navigation system for the fifth-generation T-50 (PAK FA) fighter jet that autonomously processes navigation and flight information, determines position and motion parameters in the absence of satellite navigation, and can integrate with GLONASS, Russia’s space-based satellite navigation system.

A Typhoon aircraft has successfully completed the first in a series of live firings of the MBDA Meteor Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile. This continues the series of trials we lead to demonstrate integration of the Meteor missile with Typhoon's weapon system.

Russian Helicopters (part of State Corporation Rostec) has delivered the first batch of four Mi-171Sh military transport helicopters, made by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, to the Ministry of Defence of Peru. The Mi-171Sh are being delivered to Peru a month ahead of schedule. The customer also received aviation equipment required for its operation in addition to the helicopters.
