The contract was signed between STM Defense and Defense Industry Directorate (SSB) to deliver 356 Kargu-2s with increased duty duration, altitude and autonomy, low noise level, improved target detection algorithm.

The Kargu 2 is a multi-rotor UAV solution engineered for anti-terror and asymmetric warfare scenarios. Due to its portability, it can be deployed and operated by a single personnel.

The system performs high-precision surveillance and reconnaissance missions in autonomous or manual modes to neutralize threats within a tactical range of 5 km and with an endurance of 10 min. The UAV operates within a maximum ceiling of 1000 m and with a maximum speed of 72 km/h. It only weights 6.2 kg and is powered by a LiPo battery.
