Eurocopter reinforces its maintenance support and commercial presence in Middle East and Asia
 

New agreements announced during this week’s Dubai Airshow further enhance Eurocopter’s Middle East and Asia footprint, creating a cooperative maintenance program for Royal Jordanian Air Force AS 332 M1 Super Pumas, establishing customer support services for helicopters with the United Arab Emirates’ Armed Forces, and marking the sale of a corporate EC130 B4 to Pakistan.

Pakistan Air Force is participating in Dubai Air Show-2011, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister of UAE, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid Al-Makhtum, on Sunday. JF-17 Thunder, K-8 and Super Mashak aircraft of Pakistan Air Force along with the PAF contingent comprising PAF pilots and technicians are participating in Dubai Air Show 2011.

MBM Aeronautics chooses Sagem's Cassiopée flight data management service at Dubai AirShow
 

Sagem (Safran group) on November 13 signed a contract with MBM Aeronautics, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, concerning the promotion and distribution of its new Cassiopée Exclusive service to operators and owners of business airplanes and helicopters in Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar).

Two Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft on display at Dubai Air Show 2011
 

Just a few days after participating in a complex exercise in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi and with aircraft still in Malaysia for exercise BERSAMA LIMA 11, two Typhoon jets will appear at the 2011 Dubai Air Show 2011. At the event, where a Typhoon will be flying daily in the air display, Eurofighter will have a large pavilion to exhibit the latest technologies developed for the world’s most advanced multi-role combat aircraft.

Algeria Air Force will be equipped with Russian made training aircraft Yak-130 for end 2011
 

Up to the end of 2011 the Algerian Air Force will get from Russia a batch of Yak-130 trainer-combat aircraft. Since April 2011 these planes had been used by the Russian Air Force for training future pilots of combat aviation. The pilots, who at the moment undertake an active phase of flying program, speak in favor of high maneuverability, stability and controllability of the aircraft.

More than 100 aircraft next week for the beginning of the Dubai AirShow 2011
 

The Dubai Airshow is welcoming more than 100 aircraft next week, some of them appearing for the first time in the Middle East. Running from 13 to 17 November 2011 at the city’s Airport Expo, the Dubai Airshow will be the biggest yet, with more than 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 55,000 trade visitors, an almost four percent increase from the previous show in 2009.
