The Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said it will establish an organization dedicated to managing the fighter jet project within this year.

The Royal Morocco Air Force (RMAF) has received in August its final Boeing CH-47D Chinook helicopter acquired from the United States Army through a Foreign Military Sale programme. The contract included the three helicopters with six T55-GA-714A engines plus two spare, SINCGARS radios, mission, spare parts, communication; navigation; ground support and other related equipment.

Today, Oct.6, the Russia-based Sukhoi Company handed over another batch of Su-34 frontline bombers to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation according to the 2015 State Defense Order. The aircraft took off from the V.P.Chkalov Novosibirsk Aircraft Plant’s airfield and headed to the place of their deployment.

Boeing has completed its upgrade of all U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Mission Training Centers with its high-fidelity Constant Resolution Visual System (CRVS). The system trains pilots in a more realistic visual environment than current simulators and allows them to experience extreme maneuvers that typically are only practiced in a simulator, the company announced on Oct. 2nd.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force selected Lockheed Martin’s Sniper® Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP) to equip its F-16 fleet, becoming the 21st international customer to acquire the multi-mission system. The contract was awarded through the Dutch Defence Materiel Organisation and includes 29 Sniper ATPs as well as support equipment, training and sustainment. Pod deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2016.

The US-based defense giant Boeing has been awarded a $110,109,415 contract for replacement of the intercontinental ballistic missile Minuteman III telemetry, test and termination systems. Work will be performed at Clearfield, Utah; Huntington Beach, California; and Heath, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by Aug. 31, 2019, the US Department of Defense announced on Oct. 2nd.
