LIMA 2017: BAE Systems to promote Typhoon fighter jet for RMAF MRCA requirement
 
BAE Systems will showcase its latest defence and security solutions at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA’ 17) as the company continues to offer its Eurofighter Typhoon package to meet the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF) multi role combat aircraft (MRCA) requirement.

Among the key highlights at the BAE Systems exhibition stand in Hall 1 of the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) is a Eurofighter Typhoon flight simulator and a full-scale replica of the aircraft on display outdoors.

We’ve been a part of LIMA since it was first held in 1991, a reflection of our long history here and commitment to Malaysia,” said John Brosnan, BAE Systems Managing Director for South East Asia.

We’ve created 7,100 jobs in Malaysia through our offset activities and the Eurofighter Typhoon industrial package currently offered to the RMAF is set to create 21,000 jobs in the future,” he added.
