| The
Ghana Air Force (GAF) is the air force of the African
nation of Ghana. The GAF, along with the Ghanaian
Army and Navy, make up the armed forces of Ghana
which are controlled by that nation's Ministry of
Defence. The GAF headquarters and main transport
base are located in Accra. Other air bases include:
Tamale, a combat and training base, Takoradi, a
training base and Accra, a support base.
The Ghana Air Force owns 38 aircraft, including
2 combat jets and 11 helicopters.

the RDF. It is a young organization that has been
growing operational capabilities since 1996. To
accomplish its primary and secondary roles, Rwanda
Air Force is organised in five elements: Air Bases,
Air Defence Regiment, Security Regiment, Air Support
Services and Service Schools.

of South Africa, with headquarters in Pretoria.
It is the world's second oldest independent air
force.
The SA Air force is tasked with protecting the airspace
of the Republic through the conduct of air operations,
that is, to protect the Republic from an air attack
or make it impossible for any opposing air force
to provide attacking ground forces with air support.
