According to the US DoD, Al Raha Group for Technical Services will provide comprehensive material management of unclassified spares, support equipment, and support services required to support base stand-ups and continued F-15 and F-15SA Royal Saudi Air Force flying operations.

"Work will be performed in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and McDonough, Georgia, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2017. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Air Force Life Cycle management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity," the US DoD added.

Al-Raha Group for Technical Services, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was established in 1986 as a technical services company.

The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) currently operates 70 F-15S fighter jets and ordered 84 modernized F-15SA fighters. The F-15SA is a new version for the Saudi Arabian Air Force. The F-15SA will have a modern fly-by-wire flight control system in place of the hybrid electronic/mechanical system used by all previous F-15s. The variant includes the APG-63(v)3 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, digital electronic warfare systems (DEWS), infrared search and track (IRST) systems, and other advanced systems.
